to some organizations, our VTC Online University. Our online service gives account holders
access to ALL VTC Software Training content, every title, 24/7 via the Internet. The only
differences between training online, and training on CD is:
- Online content is slightly more compressed so that it is NOT a bandwidth hog.
- Users can enjoy the benefits of VTC training ONLY while connected to the Internet.
The method of access to VTC Training is not suitable for all organizations, but for those
who can take advantage, the cost savings can be even greater than the savings
enjoyed by those using the VTC CDs.
Access to the online training requires only a standard Internet connection, a Web browser,
and Quicktime video player software (a video standard) installed on local computers. Your system
administrators, MAY have to make a small adjustment to network filtering to allow the
training content to stream to the computer desktops of your staff or students, but otherwise,
employing VTC Training Online is technically seamless.

Multi User Licenses are sold as Concurrent User Licenses. For instance, an organization that purchases a 10 Concurrent User License can make the resources of the content available to ALL of it's staff or students, while a maximum of 10 people can access the training at the same time. A ratio of 10:1 for heavy content users is normally sufficient, while a ratio of 20:1 is typical of lighter users. In other words, if you have 50 people who would access the VTC training for new training and follow up reference regularly, then a 5 concurrent user license will likely be sufficient. In academic settings, ratios may differ and should be considered on a case by case basis.

VTC offers Multi-User clients with two options to allow users to access the VTC Computer and Software training online:
Individual User Login or Integrated Intranet/Extranet Content.
Individual User Login: Your system administrators will be provided access to a complete Administration
system for the VTC Online University. Administrators can set up an unlimited number of individual accounts with usernames and passwords
that will allow you to track and verify use by individuals. Users will have access to the online content from anywhere they have
internet access. This solution suits those organizations that need to track usage, allow global access, or tightly control access.
Integrated Intranet/Extranet Content: In cases where companies or schools need to provide access
to thousands of individuals, VTC offers the option of generating 'course pages' with 'encoded lesson links' built right in. This allows
you to place the 'course pages' and 'lesson links' on your own intranet or extranet (as self-contained pages or within an organizational LCMS).
Those with access to your intranet / extranet will have access to the training through whatever controls you care to implement.
This approach is most popular with large corporations and educational institutions to provide training access to
hundreds or thousands of users.
